Hansjörg Baldinger: Friedrich Dürrenmatt: The Physics
Comedy with shockingly serious message. Thoughts from the dramaturgy of Dürrenmatt (21 theses to the physics). Here we speak about the freedom and responsibility of a scientist. Why are reality and theatre paradoxical? Chosen paragraphs from the Bible can give some unexpected answers. The paradoxes of the world have their reasons…

Nancey Murphy: Naturalism and Theism as Competing Traditions, or the Importance of Worldviews in Science
Most Christians gave up in the nineteenth century on trying to prove Christianity or basic theism on the basis of science. However, I have noted that endeavors such as this conference play a double role in supporting the Christian tradition. First, it dispels the illusion that Christianity and science are incompatible. Second, we can use science in particular cases to address some of the intellectual crises that confront our own tradition.

Peter Payne: Science and Christianity: Worldviews in conflict?
Are science and Christianity in conflict with one another? Put another way, does the picture of the world that science presents to us conflict with the picture of the world presented in the Bible and reflected in the historic confessions of the Christian faith? This essay is concerned with a broader and more fundamental issue; namely, whether the success of the sciences, and what may be inferred from that success, conflicts with a Christian worldview.

Einike Pilli: How to Fulfil your Mission in the World: Following Your Dreams
It all starts from dreaming. The braver and clearer the dream, the better. Following your dreams is not easy – it requires wisdom to make wise decisions between different good choices, bearing stress and loneliness.
Following your dream can be supported with 5 skills: knowing one field of subject well, synthesising way of thinking, creativity, accepting the different and responsible way of living. I dare say that such life is worth living.
Tarmo Uustalu: Industrial Landscape or Sunset
I will talk about my field of science, which is computer science, and propose that calculating is much more inherent in the nature than is generally thought. I will be thinking how a computer scientist could look at naturalism and I will ask about the ethical choices which he is facing – whether it is developing technology which more and quicker than ever changes the overall being of society, or about science changing into institution in rapidly bureaucratising order of science.
